Project Overview

Brian Wilson, co-founder of the Beach Boys, was one of the most influential composers and music visionaries in popular music history, reshaping the sound of the 1960s through his groundbreaking arrangements and production and culminating in the landmark album Pet Sounds. For more than 20 years, Designsite had the privilege of helping promote Brian’s solo career, celebrate his Beach Boys legacy, and introduce his music to new generations of fans.

Our website designs showcased Brian’s albums, television and film projects, tours, and special promotions. The most recent version, featured in Rolling Stone, included an interactive career timeline filled with rare music, photos, and videos. We also managed Brian’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X, and collaborated with him on special projects including the #1 iTunes podcast Pet Sounds, while working with Disney, Capitol Records, Universal Music, and others to promote his work.

More than a client, Brian became someone we were incredibly fortunate to know personally. He was remarkably smart and so funny. Spending time with him, talking about music, sharing stories, laughing together, and simply enjoying his company are memories we will always treasure. Working with Brian and helping share his extraordinary music and legacy with the world was one of the great privileges of our career.
